Summit Anesthesia is looking for an Anesthesia Assistant to help with our expanding practice. We are a group of Dentist Anesthesiologists that travel to offices all over to provide anesthesia for pediatric and adult patients.

We are looking for someone who has experience with sedation and anesthesia. The primary role of this position will be to help monitor during recovery and to go over discharge information with the families. Must be personable and have or be willing to obtain BLS, ACLS and PALS Certification. Must have reliable transportation; this position will require you to travel to different locations.

Position will be 2-3 days a week typically from 6:00 am to 1:00 pm. Additional days might be needed as the practice continues to grow. Must be willing to travel through out the Salt Lake Valley. Enjoyable and rewarding position

After a two minute tutorial our six year old places an IV like a pro. With her non-dominant hand no less.

We are excited to have Dr. Levi Taylor join our team and for the growth of Summit Anesthesia. Changing the universe one sleeping patient at a time.

We are excited to introduce our newest member of the Summit Anesthesia team, Dr. Levi Taylor!

Born and raised in Kaysville, Utah, he received his bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho. He continued his education at the University of Buffalo School of Dental Medicine in New York, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude and was invited into Omicron Kappa Upsilon (OKU), the National Dental Honor Society. He completed his residency training in dental anesthesiolo-gy at UCLA, a hospital system ranked 3rd best in the country. In addition to anesthesia training he completed training in Cardiology, Emergency Medicine, and Pediatrics.

Dr. Taylor’s favorite part about dental anesthesia is working with pediatric and special needs patients. Being able to provide a pain-free dental experience to a population that often experi-ences the most dental related fear and anxiety, brings a special form of gratification. As a den-tist anesthesiologist he is able to adapt the anesthesia experience to each of his patients. This includes anything from a minimal sedation to general anesthesia.

Dr. Taylor has had the opportunity to serve and provide free dental care for underserved kids and adults throughout western New York and Tennessee, as well as multiple dental clinics and surgery centers throughout Los Angeles.

Of all his accomplishments, his greatest joy is being married to his wife Carolyn and being a fa-ther to their three children.

Dr. Taylor is certified in the following specialties:

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certified.

Getting ReadyAnesthetics are normally given in the morning because you cannot eat or drink before an anesthetic. The child will wake up that morning, have nothing to eat or drink, be driven to their appointment wearing pajamas or loose fitting clothing.
