SarahCare at Encino Park

SarahCare at Encino Park Providing a safe and fun environment for adults who can not stay home alone. SararhCare is a leader in the industry of adult day health services.

As personal caregivers to our veteran family members, we chose to bring SarahCare to San Antonio, Texas to help other caregivers in our situation. We are opening this franchise to assist those in our community with the difficult decisions they make daily about loved ones that may be afflicted with Alzheimer's, dementia or Parkinsons, etc or just may not be able to be left alone. We are here to care for clients, provide warm meals, to interact with them socially, engage in activities and bring comfort to the caregivers during the day.

I was so fortunate to be a teacher in Encino Park and meet so many wonderful people. This video was put together by a former student to allow you to take a peek inside our center!

“The toughest thing I’ve ever experienced.”
That’s how “America’s Got Talent” judge Howie Mandel describes his mother’s Alzheimer’s journey — yet within the hardship, he has found deep connection, purpose and hope.

In a heartfelt Q&A, Howie shares how his mom, once the strongest and sharpest person he knew, now lives in the late stage of the disease. While she no longer recognizes him, music continues to bridge the space between them.

“My mom used to sing ‘You Are My Sunshine’ to me … now I hold her hand — and I sing to her like she used to sing to me.”

Howie opens up about the realities of caregiving, the fear of watching someone he loves change, and the hope that comes with advancements.

“Every day, we’re getting closer to answers.”

As we reflect on this season of gratitude, our hearts are full. This journey has been big, beautiful, stressful, exciting, and everything in between — and we could not have made it this far without the incredible people standing with us. 🤍

First, thank you to our corporate office for your constant support, guidance, and encouragement. Your belief in us has helped carry this dream forward.
To our fellow SarahCare franchise owners, thank you for always answering the phone, sharing advice, and reminding us that we’re part of something bigger. Your wisdom means more than you know.

To our families, who have loved us through every meeting, every late night, every construction hiccup, every moment of doubt — thank you for being our foundation. ❤️
And to everyone who has been part of the building process, from contractors to inspectors to the many hands behind the scenes… thank you for helping turn this dream into a real place where seniors will soon gather, laugh, and thrive.

To our staff, who have stood beside us with patience, grace, and excitement while we prepare to open — we are so grateful for you.
And finally… to every single person who has reached out with the sweetest question of all: “When are you going to open?” Thank you for cheering us on. Your enthusiasm tells us we’re exactly where we’re supposed to be.

We promise: we will open as soon as possible, and when we do, SarahCare at Encino Park will be filled with joy, purpose, and community — because of you. 🧡
