Why We Started Duke PCH – Personal Care Home

Duke PCH was created from the heart-Ruth’s story.

Growing up, I didn’t have the opportunity to experience the close relationships many people have with their grandparents. Because of that, I always carried a deep love and appreciation for the elderly in my heart.

Caring for seniors is more than a profession for me — it is my passion and my purpose.

My goal is to help make their lives more enjoyable and meaningful, even when facing illness, disability, or the challenges that come with aging. At Duke PCH, every resident is cared for as a whole person and treated with dignity, compassion, and love.

Here, they are not just residents — they are family.
