Ubaldo Santana, Administrator for Las Alturas Nursing & Transitional Care, recently shared his insights and best practices on “Let’s Talk”— a podcast featuring successful long-term care providers.
Las Alturas Nursing & Transitional Care has achieved a CMS five-star quality rating, multiple industry awards, and, most importantly, life-changing results for its residents.
When asked about the “secret sauce” behind that success, Santana said that it came down to two important factors: a team who shares a mission to Make Lives Better and engaged leadership. “I actually lead from the floor. I’m usually walking the halls, checking in with our team members, checking in with residents and their families, developing trust,” he stated.
