Methodist Hospital | Stone Oak recently celebrated a remarkable milestone honoring Wade Adair’s retirement from the United States Air Force and his continued leadership as Vice President of Operations at the hospital.
Wade’s transition from military service to healthcare leadership was made possible through the Department of Defense (DOD) SkillBridge Program, a partnership between Methodist Healthcare and the DOD that connects transitioning service members with meaningful civilian career opportunities.
Surrounded by family, colleagues, and team members, Wade was honored for his decades of service, leadership, and dedication. The ceremony marked not only the close of an extraordinary military career, but the beginning of his next chapter with us. In a powerful and symbolic moment, the team had the honor of helping Wade remove his Air Force uniform and place on his hospital work jacket, representing the continuation of his service in a new mission.
His leadership, integrity, and mission-focused approach continue to make a positive impact on hospital operations, team members, and the community served by Methodist Hospital | Stone Oak. We are proud to recognize exceptional leaders like Wade Adair and celebrate the service he has given, and continues to give, in support of others.
