Have you been trying to lose weight FOREVER and getting nowhere?

That was me for years, babe. YEARS. 😩

I worked out 6–7x a week, lived in a calorie deficit, took every supplement on the shelf… and the scale?

Still laughing at me.

On paper I was “fit.”

In reality? I was hiding under blazers, avoiding beaches, and pretending I didn’t care.

I was MISERABLE!!!

Then I met a functional medicine doc who said five words that changed everything:
👉 “You have insulin resistance & inflammation.”

Suddenly everything made sense.
My body wasn’t broken: it was stuck.

I eat bread. I drink wine. I live.

I don’t even know when it started, but I spent 2 decades in a relationship with food that was more control than care.

📉 1600 calories a day.
📉 Sometimes 1200.
📉 Yep: even did the HCG diet at 500 calories a day (for 12 weeks 😵‍💫)

And the worst part?
None of it worked.

So I made even more rules:
🚫 No fruit
🚫 No sweet potatoes
🚫 No red meat
🚫 No rice
🚫 No cocktails
🚫 No sugar
🚫 No JOY.

The fitness industry fed me fear.
The wellness world fed me shame.

And I swallowed every bite thinking, “If I follow the rules perfectly, I’ll finally lose the weight.”

But all it did was wreck my metabolism, and my mental health.

⚡ What actually worked?

✨ Tirzepatide
✨ Relearning how to eat without fear
✨ Letting go of the obsession
✨ Choosing peace over perfection

I still care about my health.
I still make smart, nourishing choices.
But now? I do it from a place of trust, not trauma.

I don’t binge. I don’t spiral. I don’t label food as “bad.”

Let’s stop acting like your bloating, mood swings, anxiety, and weight gain are separate issues.🚨

Sis… they’re all connected.

The “big secret” that finally flipped the switch on my weight loss?
WALKING.

Yep. Just me, my sneakers, and some seriously therapeutic strutting. 🐕‍🦺🎧

Listen babe: I spent years sweating my lashes off in hardcore cardio hell thinking more burn = more results.

Reality check?

I was just torching my hormones and spinning in circles on that hamster wheel from hell. 😩

Here’s why walking is the queen’s move:

The moment you decide to start putting yourself first:
watch how loud the opinions get.

“You’re too old to care about that.”
“Why are you so into the gym all of a sudden?”
“You’re getting too skinny.”
“I liked you better before…”

Babe, before was exhausted.
Before was dimmed down.
Before was silently suffering under the weight of everyone else’s expectations.

The truth?
People get uncomfortable when you stop abandoning yourself.
When you choose growth.
When you start glowing.

Let me be clear:
🔥 Taking care of your body is not a midlife crisis.
🔥 Prioritizing your health is not obsessive.
🔥 Looking hot at 45 is not “too much.”
It’s called reclaiming your power.

Every step you take toward strength, energy, and confidence?
That’s not vanity: it’s self-respect.

And no one gets to vote on your glow-up.
