It’s hard to believe I made this simple but cool 24” metal star 10 years ago.. this was back in day when I hand cut everything.. if memory serves me right this one went to a conference room in a bank in Austin.. who knows I may try this little design but with a twist just in time for a Christmas give away.

This is the prototype of the trophy’s(4) we will be making to be awarded at the Hanger Hangout on November 11,2023. They will be cut from 1/8”
Aluminum and given a brushed finish .. I’m not thrilled with laser etching so I’ll likely tape them off and paint.. or maybe just leave them blank.. if there are any hand letters out there who want to donate their time for a good cause hit me up. If you think we are spending a lot of time and effort on this half day event in November ….you’re right.. but the Veterans deserve it.

So.. we are 76% sure this old girl is sold.. we are doing some minor maintenance and plans are for her to move on to her new home..Of she doesn’t sell the I guess I’ll just keep driving her around and put her back up on the market.. here are a couple of cool photo taken on Main Street in downtown Boerne….

Soo.. When one of our early pieces we did for one of our favorite people . (Back when when we would hand cut our pieces) gets repurposed and hand painted by a super talented does that mean we are getting old??

You may recall me sharing a little event on Veterans Day at (which I included again). I was struck with a little inspiration and decided to offer my services to to design and fabricate some trophy’s for such a worth while event.. We decided to do a prototype out of cardboard . The final piece will be cut out of aluminum and have a brush finish..we think it’ll give it a simple and elegant look.. So bring you ride and hang out maybe you will take home a little piece of .

If you’re in the San Antonio Area you may want to check this cool little coffee and hang . It will be a couple of hours so it won’t burn your entire day and I heard the museum is pretty awesome…. Thanks you for putting in the leg work for this event .

I have always wanted to use led flex lights and they did not disappoint .. the red pegasus is real glass neon and the one in white uses LED lights at a fraction of the price.. Nothing beats the buzz of real neon .. which do you like …

Just a little sneak peek of a 🏆 trophy my brother and I are working on for the most traditional hot rod . We cut and polished this aluminum piece then laser etched it all in house…. It took a couple attempts but we nailed it.
