Today, Alta Vita Hospice gathered with families and friends for a sacred time of remembrance—honoring the precious lives entrusted to our care. In Scripture, God instructed the Israelites to take up stones of remembrance so future generations would ask, “What do these stones mean?” These stones told a story of God’s faithfulness and love.
In the same way, every name we lifted today represents a story worth telling—stories of joy, resilience, love, and lives that touched ours deeply. Grief is a hard crossing, but Scripture reminds us: “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted.” (Psalm 34:18) You do not walk this journey alone.
Love endures beyond loss. The memories we hold become our own stones of remembrance—lasting reminders that love leaves an imprint deeper than stone. As we share their stories, their legacy continues through us.
