Not every community has the same access to heart care, and that matters.
Across the country, millions of people live in areas with limited or no access to cardiology services. In these communities, gaps in information and access can delay screenings, diagnosis, and treatment, putting lives at risk. Limited information leaves many unaware of heart health risks, and too many communities still lack consistent access to heart care.
At the Association of Black Cardiologists, we are working to close these gaps through education, community partnerships, and trusted voices that meet people where they are. Heart health starts with awareness, but it also requires access, advocacy, and action.
Know your numbers. Ask questions. Encourage screenings. Support efforts that bring heart care closer to the communities that need it most.
Every heart counts.
