I have undergone all required background checks by the State of Texas & the F.B.I for anyone living in this home over the age of 14. I am C.P.R/First Aid trained/certified. I have a ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification. Over the years,as you can imagine, I have been certified on various topics. From, what children can learn & do, to S.I.D.S. From recognizing child abuse to The Growth & Development of Children & many more.(30 hrs a yr)
I have extensive experience working with infants & toddlers because I have had 6 children of my own. I decided to go into the child care business because of my love for children. Each child no matter their situation,religion or race brings a new and exciting personality to my daycare. I try to keep a learning environment here. I have a passion for our youth, children who are in need of positive outlets and inspiration for their futures. If you can help a youth or young child in any way, it is an amazing feeling. With my 18 years of parenting experience along with my 13 years of child care business experience in working with children in Child Protective Services and special needs, I have experienced children come out of their shells and gain confidence in themselves by learning to work thru frustrations and problems they have at home. I myself experienced this as a child, it is why I chose my profession. After all, in the end, we ALL just want to be loved, praised and guided in the right direction.
