He received his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, and then completed his internship at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston for general surgery. Following his internship, Dr. Decherd went on to complete his residencies. In Galveston, he fulfilled his residency in otolaryngology head and neck surgery, and then he went back to the prestigious University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center for his residency in plastic surgery. Dr. Decherd takes the time to listen to his patients and uncover all of the possibilities so an effective treatment plan can be put into place. He shows them their potential results by using VECTRA® 3D imaging. Dr. Decherd knows the value of having a dedicated staff, and his staff knows the value of a great plastic surgeon.
