Savannah's story:
As of 10/4/2013 Savannah passed away in the arms of her mother on her mothers birthday. She is forever in our hearts. the fight against DIPG and child cancer will continue.

She is on hospice at home in her brand new room that was built for her with donations. Her tumor has grown in size and she is no longer on anymore medication or therapy. Her family is enjoying every moment they have with her and are always praying for a miracle. Thank you for following her page. Below is what Savannah previously had going on with her battle. Savannah Andreya Gomez is a 6 year old girl who is fighting for her life against a form of brain cancer. She was diagnosed on 03/01/2012 with a brainstem glioma tumor this type of tumor especially the location makes it very hard for her to have surgery. Her tumor is inoperable and she has done radiation and is on 12 cycles of chemotherapy. Savannah does chemotherapy everyday and has constant doctor’s appointments, MRI's, and blood work every week. Although Savannah has extra hurdles to overcome then most kindergarteners she does attend school. Her parents Andy & Sylvia Gomez want nothing but the BEST for their daughter and as well as her 4 brothers. Andy Jr, Julian, Romeo, & Newborn brother Santiago.
