Hey friends,

I finally got back into my Facebook after being away for a while. I'm reviewing all messages in every platform I'm on and I noticed that many many of you wondered where I was, and I want to thank you for thinking of me.

The truth is, I’ve been in the fight of my life—battling stage 4 cancer. That is one thing I've never experienced before. I understand it's not a death wish. It hasn’t been easy, but I’ve learned something powerful along the way. That my resilience is real to me. No matter how heavy the storm, my Spirit is stronger than ever before, even if I transition at the wrong time in your eyes. I understand and accept, that everything happens at the right divine time.

I’m grateful for every prayer, every thought, and every bit of love sent my way. Thank you all for being part of my strength, and creating these wonderful experiences in this journey.

🌟🕊️ Happy Birthday Mom! 🕊️🌟

Today, July 28, 2023, we gather to celebrate the life of an extraordinary woman, my Mom, Darlene Lara. Though she may no longer be with us in the physical realm, she shows presence strongly.

On this special day, as we remember the joy and love my Mom brought into the lives of my Dad, Bugalu, and I. Let us all reflect on the beautiful moments everyone shared and the lasting impact she made.

My Mom Darlene was not only a devoted mother but also a beacon of light for everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Even those that simply passed her by. Her love was unconditional, her wisdom inspiring, and her kindness and laugh extremely contagious. My Mom had a way of making others feel cherished, understood, and loved, leaving an indelible mark on their souls no matter whatever the situation was.

As we think of my Mom Darlene today, I ask everyone to recall the fond memories, the laughter everyone shared, and the warmth of her embrace. My Mom's Spirit continues to guide my Sister & I, reminding us to embrace life with the same love, compassion, and strength she exemplified.

Darlene's legacy lives on through the knowledge she imparted, the values she instilled, and the love she gave freely to my Sister & I. The impact she made on the lives of Bugalu & I is immeasurable, and her nurturing soul has helped shape the wonderful adults we have grown to be.

On this day of remembrance, please join me in honor of my Mom Darlene by spreading kindness, understanding, and love to those around us, just as she did throughout her life. My Mom's love and light will ALWAYS continue to shine brightly through my Sister & I in every way not missing one trait distributed between the both of us.

Mom, your physical presence is deeply missed, I can not lie about that. It's even more challenging now that Jon has transitioned as well. I do understand that our memories will forever be cherished in my heart.

Mom, Thank you for the love you shared, the wisdom you imparted, and the beautiful soul you are to us.. Please be in PEACE as you continue your journey, please assist Jon if he finds himself stuck anywhere during the process and I'll see both of y'all soon when it's my turn to transition.

Today, we come together to celebrate the life of a truly extraordinary man, Jonathan Ray Pena, on July 27, 2023. Though he may no longer be physically with us, his love, kindness, and the beautiful memories he created continue to live on in all our hearts. As we remember him today, let us embrace the joy, laughter, and warmth he brought into our lives.

Jonathan was a beacon of light, a genuine soul who touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him. He had the ability to brighten even the darkest days, offering comfort and support to those in need.

On this special day, let us cherish the moments we shared with Jonathan. His love was a force that knew no bounds, and the memories of his affectionate presence fill our hearts with gratitude.
