Stole this meme from Twitter.
Thought it was perfect to bring up something I have noticed in my own personal experience
The brain fog I get from eating wheat during a cheat or holiday is WAY more severe than the brain fog I get if I only eat rice or corn during those times.
Or in my case getting a tattoo right after the gym and needing quick carbs.
And wheat also seems to cause more memory issues for me where Rice causes more digestive heavy inflammatory response.
Usually with wheat I do 24 hr fast, strict no dairy carnivore for 3 days, then for me I don't tolerate dairy so I have it maybe 1 time a week.
It seems that avoiding it the first few days really knocks the inflammation out the best for me.
With rice it seems like as long as there is not excessive cheese, it gets mostly out of my system or broken down enough in about 2 days, but the mild brain fog is noticeably better in as little as 24 hr.
Same with the corn.
I will wrap this long story up with that I still know people who swear up and down that gluten/grain intolerance is made up and imaginary, and no matter how many articles saying how these things may cause inflammation that I send they dig their heels in.
So convinced that people are making it up because they think "It is too common to not all be in peoples heads and humans have eaten bread for decades."
Meanwhile the rest of the world are over here getting brain fog and gut issues if they so much as glance at a slice of toast sideways.
Big food has really done a number on the perspective of people and on the understanding of foods in general.
