Meal Prep Party Was A Hit!

CGFit is one way Camp Gladiator impacts its campers and community. CGFit is a combination between fitness (Our Amazing Four Week Outdoor Fitness Program) and nutrition. This is led by a registered dietician and our certified personal trainers.

This past weekend our first ever meal prep party went without a hitch. true engagement and knowledge occurred and it was a first and not last experience for our CGFitters.

Learning how to meal prep is a crazy challenge. When to do it and how to do it can be a bit overwhelming. The first step is understanding that if you can allot two to three hours over the weekend, you can save ten more hours per week by not cooking. The second step is knowing that you can cook everything together a majority of the time and be satisfied. Bowls and flat plans are your BEST FRIEND.

Learn new recipes. Pinterest is my best friend when it comes to cooking. Do not be afraid to try new flavors because eating healthy is NOT boring.
