Mixed Connective Tissue Disease is a rare autoimmune disease that disguises itself as lupus and other autoimmune diseases aka overlapping disease (Sharp Syndrome 1972). Diagnosis starts around 20s-30s (child bearing stages) affects children as well after being diagnosed it is stated with proper medication can extend your/their life span with an estimated 10 years. Testing is done through blood work with an 'ANA' (for lupus) and 'RNP' (for MCTD). Affects 97% women 3%men. Over lapping disease Symptoms:
