Knowledge To Choice, from choice to practice, from practice to culture where awareness turns into understanding. Where we stop seeing our triggers as random disruptions and start recognizing them as signals — invitations to pause, reflect, and choose differently.

Today, we invite you to be curious, not critical. To observe yourself with honesty, but also with compassion. And to remember that growth doesn’t happen when we judge ourselves — it happens when we understand ourselves.

You are personally invited—either in person or via Zoom—to our two day seminar called, The Y Model, From Survival to Choice, From Fear to Trust
3 January 2026 - 10am to 430pm (PST)
4 January 2026- 1pm to 6pm ( PST)

We’ve all had moments when a coworker’s words or actions triggered irritation or frustration. Emotional triggers are real, and they can influence how we show up at work and in our personal relationships—often without us recognizing the deeper root of the reaction.

This weekend, Refocus-On-U will host a team-building experience designed to help you identify those triggers, understand the emotions behind them, and gain insight into the history that shapes how you respond.

Our goal is to strengthen communication, collaboration, and emotional awareness across our communities.

Healing is generational. So is hope.

Nelly’s Story follows the journey of a nine-year-old girl who sees what the adults around her cannot. Through the strained relationship between her mother and grandmother, Nelly learns that unresolved hurt doesn’t disappear, it gets passed down. By guiding her family toward forgiveness, cultural grounding, and mutual respect, she shows that when one generation heals, the next has the chance to thrive.

This should remind us that understanding our roots, honoring culture, and choosing forgiveness can break cycles and restore families.

Quiet season ➝ Big comeback.

Refocus-On-U is stepping into a new chapter. We received a $10,000 grant with training included, and it’s about to be a busy season of growth. It’s been a long time coming, injury setbacks and all, but like Elton, we’re still standing. Ready for 2026. A new era is on the way. 🙌🧡

My good friend Augie from has been a real support and true friend to me and Refocus-On-U, providing us with many free frames and prescriptions for our previous health fairs. They are currently moving to an “in home house calls” where they will go to someone, to their home, and provide the necessary vision care.

Their hours will be on weekends and weekdays after 6:30am.
