Today and moving forward I invite you to focus on LOVING your inner child. Say these 5 things to yourself to Heal and Nurture your Inner Child;
1. I LOVE YOU - We may not have had parents that told us this and that we deserved love. WE ARE LOVEABLE!! Tell yourself "I LOVE YOU" when you see yourself in the mirror.
2. I HEAR YOU. - Sometimes when we are hurt we push our feelings down and try to ignore them and be strong. A lot of times this stems from childhood. Instead of suppressing the voice of your inner child, say "I HEAR YOU" I validate you.
3. I FORGIVE YOU - In many cases, the people that wounded us, for the most part, didn't know any other way. A child is innocent and pure and it's not the child's fault. We can say now - I forgive you!
4. THANK YOU - Thank your inner child for never giving up! Thank your Inner child for trying to protect you, even if you had to hold on to painful memories. Your Inner child deserves gratitude and respect.
5. YOU DID YOUR BEST - As a child, we always try to outperform, to overachieve, to be PERFECT in order to be accepted. Your imperfect best is perfect. When we let go of PERFECTION, the fear of failure gradually diminishes.
So the key here is to say these things to your Inner Child and help you experience more love, peace, and happiness. They can also help you become more confident and also compassionate.
It's time to acknowledge and accept yourself just the way you are!
