Extra upgrade Amateur Radio class
Times:
28-Oct 9:00 AM (sharp) to about 5:00 PM for the first part of the question pool. Plan to arrive 08:45.
04-Nov 9:00 AM (sharp) to about 7:00 PM for the rest of the pool and exam. Plan to arrive 08:45.
(Class time includes short hourly breaks and a 45-60 minute lunch break location: Kearny Mesa area (details provided later to those registered)
Costs: There is no charge for the class or the exam..
Step 1: Request registration instructions by replying to this message or emailing sandiegohamclasses@me.com (as we often have more than one class open for registration, please include at least "28-0ct+04-Nov-2023 Kearny Mesa Extra" in the subject of your message). You will receive a reply with registration instructions and study materials to review before class. (At times, there's an email backlog and it can take a few days to send your instructions.)
Step 2: Reply per the instructions. A prompt and complete reply is to your advantage - seats are reserved in the order replies are received. Those who do not follow instructions and register via email are ineligible to attend the class. You will receive a reply with directions to sign up for the special exam session for the class.
Additional notes;
1. We must have a working email address for each prospective attendee and be in direct email contact (we cannot accept “proxy” registrations). If you want to get a family member or friend started on the registration path, include their email address on the To: or Cc: line when you reply to this email to request registration instructions. Your family member or friend will receive the instructions, and will still need to reply per instructions.
2. If you are a member of a group that plans to have multiple people attend, please mention that group in your email.
3. Your call is required to complete registration - you can provide it when you request instructions, or when you sign up for the exam.
Watch for additional email/reminders before class! There are only a couple....
Those registered will receive an email "reminder" about 7-10 days before class with details on location, times, what to bring, etc.
Those on the waiting list will receive an update about 7 days before class about whether space will be available.
