Let’s fix the biggest myth in personal growth: “Breakthroughs will change your life.”
You’re taught to measure growth by intensity.
If it doesn’t feel life-altering, it must not be working.
If it’s not dramatic, it’s not transformation.
That’s dopamine. And it’s profitable. Because if the high fades, you’ll buy the next one.
But devotion?
Devotion doesn’t sell as easily.
Devotion is repeating the same grounding practice when no one’s watching. It’s integrating the insight instead of chasing a new one. It’s choosing the boundary after the retreat glow wears off.
Devotion is staying.
The truth?
If insight alone changed lives, you’d already be living differently. Most people aren’t stuck because they need another breakthrough. They’re stuck because they’ve never been taught how to build devotion into their everyday lives.
Dopamine keeps you consuming.
Devotion changes you.
That’s how confidence builds. That’s how self-trust stabilizes. That’s how the work actually sticks.
📌 Save this for the next time you think you need another breakthrough when what you really need is to live the last one.
