●What is it? Spirulina is a whole product of biological origin: a blue-green microalgae that grows naturally in the wild in freshwater lakes, natural springs, and saltwater. It is the most nutritious, concentrated whole food known to humankind!

●Which are the benefits? Spirulina contains the highest concentration of protein for any plant, herb or animal on a gram per gram basis. It is made of between 55 and 70 percent protein (more than beef, chicken, and soybeans) all the essential and non-essential amino acids, as well as high levels of iron; beta carotene; minerals and multivitamins, including vitamin B12; and phycocyanin, a pigmentprotein antioxidant complex found only in blue-green microalgae.
