This giving season, we’re proud to support the Empowered Endings Foundation.

For this special collaboration, we're making a one-time donation to ensure financial barriers never prevent a family from accessing compassionate end-of-life care.

The Foundation provides:
💙 Free support groups for families and caregivers
💙 Financial assistance for essential medications and support
💙 Grief counseling and bereavement support
💙 Educational resources and community programs

Every family deserves dignity—regardless of their financial situation.

This year, we're honored to contribute to a mission that extends our reach beyond paying patients, ensuring more people have access to an Empowered End of Life Experience.

Talking to kids about death? Start with:

"I want to share something important with you because I love you and trust you with the truth."

Then use simple, honest language:
✓ "Grandpa's body stopped working"
✓ "The doctors can't fix what's wrong"
✓ "Dying means their body stops forever"

✗ Avoid: "Went to sleep," "passed away," "lost"

Kids need truth delivered with love, not euphemisms that create confusion or fear.

"We wish we had called sooner."

I hear this from families constantly. They delayed hospice because they thought it meant giving up, or that it was only for the final days, or that they couldn't afford it.

Then they started hospice care and realized: this is what they needed all along.

✨ Symptom relief that actually works
✨ Support for the whole family, not just the patient
✨ Time to focus on connection instead of crisis management
✨ Completely covered by Medicare

“There wasn’t a dry eye in the room,” Katie, our Education and Outreach Coordinator, shared as we debriefed End Well’s Radical Bravery event, a gathering that felt less like a conference and more like a community choosing honesty over avoidance.

End Well promised it would be different. And it was.

🎬 to the screening of Other Side, a film that chronicles one woman’s journey through Medical Aid in Dying, followed by a panel discussion that included the filmmakers, the patient’s son, an anthropologist, and Dr. Bob Uslander, exploring what autonomy truly looks like in practice

💚 This day opened hearts in a way only End Well can.

To our partners at , thank you for creating a space where courage, compassion, and connection lead the way.

💜 November is National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness Month

6 million Americans live with Alzheimer's. Behind each number is a person—and a family navigating profound loss while their loved one is still present.

Palliative care helps throughout the journey: ✨ Managing symptoms with compassion ✨ Supporting families through anticipatory grief ✨ Coordinating complex care needs ✨ Providing respite for exhausted caregivers

You don't have to navigate this alone.

💊 One of the most preventable reasons patients return to the hospital? Medication errors.

Discharge packets often list both old + new prescriptions. Without clarity, families risk double dosing, missed meds, or dangerous conflicts.

Here’s the 3-step process to keep your loved one safe.

Music has the power to reach where words cannot. 🎵💫

"It allowed me to be the daughter again, not the nurse." — Eva G.

This is what palliative care can do. It gives families permission to be present, not just productive. To love, not just manage.

This November, we're honoring National Hospice & Palliative Care Month and the professionals who make moments like this possible.

📲 If you're carrying the weight of caregiving alone, you don't have to. Book a free Connection & Clarity Call to explore how palliative care can restore balance for your family.

Serious health conditions involve complex decisions. It can be challenging to make decisions that best honor your values and your dignity. Allow us to help you know what’s possible and transform your experience from one of fear and struggle to one of peace and empowerment. As your partner and advocate, we walk beside you on this journey. Just call us.

Many of our patients and families are amazed at the transformation that takes place when they experience the kind of care that cannot be found in traditional healthcare models. The kind of care that empowers you to live life on your own terms for the rest of your days – free of fear, pain, and anxiety.

The traditional healthcare system too often takes an “all or nothing” approach. You likely have more options than you know of. Because we work outside the insurance model there are no external restrictions or limitations on our ability to serve you and your family. If you’re considering palliative or hospice care, learn more about your options, here.
