Are you walking for mental health with NAMI San Diego this Saturday, April 25th, at Liberty Station?
So are we! Members of our team will be walking in support of mental health. We will also have a table at the event. Feel free to stop by to browse our resources or just to say hi!

NAMI is a valuable partner in helping the individuals we support access critical mental health services. We look forward to seeing you and reducing the stigma of mental illness together.

I'm supporting NAMI!

Attention, Self-Determination Program (SDP) participants and all who are interested in SDP!

Beginning April 1, 2026, the California State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD) is the only approved provider to offer the SDP orientation statewide. The SDP Orientation will be offered in two parts and each part is two hours. You must complete both parts before beginning the SDP transition.

If you completed an SDP orientation prior to April 1st, and you can submit a certificate of completion, we will accept this as completed. Anyone who has not taken the orientation before April 1st will need to complete the new format with SCDD.

Please review the new California Department of Developmental Services (DDS) directive which outlines the information about this new requirement: https://www.dds.ca.gov/initiatives/sdp/program-directives/

Visit the SCDD website to register for the Self-Determination Program (SDP) Orientation moving forward: https://scdd.ca.gov/sdp-orientation/
