I use a lot of natural everything in my products. One of the best ways to get the biggest punch from fruits, botanicals and herbs is to freeze dry them.
•
If you have purchased any of my soaps, bath salts, lip balms, lip scrubs, and simmer sacks you know first hand the value in these nutrient captured elements.
•
One of the other benefits of freeze drying is the beauty is preserved. Look at these strawberries!!! They are so pretty.
•
I love when I harvest lavender and rosemary from the garden and they look just as pretty coming out as they did going in.
•
The citrus is a big one too. I used to dehydrate it for products and it looked sad. Now the big, bright, bold beauty stays.
•
So keep an eye out for products with lovely grown ingredients. Some of these are going to get ground up, infused in coconut oil and mixed with some other amazing ingredients to become a strawberry vanilla lip balm.

What’s up Wednesday.

I made some ice cream because we went strawberry picking and you know… ice cream!
•
The best part is you don’t have to add sugar because the berries cover it. I tossed in some vanilla paste, because yes.
•
Kash had some last night and I asked if it would be good if I added cocoa powder next time and it was a hard yes.
•
I have so many things I want to share with y’all.
•
So I’m over here deciding if I want to dedicate a day to certain topics, if I want to market supporting products or if I just want to tell you what to do.
•
All I know is this:
THERE IS NO REASON NOT TO GO THROUGH LIFE FEELING BETTER AND BETTER!!!
•
Sometimes that’s because of habit, exercise, work, relationships or sometimes just fresh strawberry vanilla ice cream!
•

This week it’s WHERE AM I WEDNESDAY!

Today it’s Mt Everest Academy in Clairemont.
•
Their monthly Farmstand goes down today from 12-1pm. All the amazing organic food is grown on site. It’s lead by and supported by their Green Club.
•
The kids run the stand, until they need to get back to class, and there are always amazing items.
•
There is a honey fundraiser to go along with it because what garden is complete with out some bees buzzing around!
•
If you like organic produce. Like fresh picked things. Like kids…. Come support their cause in learning.
•
As you see in the graphic, one more thing the school district DOES NOT FUND!
