Bio

Melanie Jaquess studied Massage Therapy at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego. She is a Certified Massage Therapist in the state of California and is nationally Board Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

Massage therapy is a second career path for Melanie. Arthritis in her spine made her former job as a video editor difficult because of the extreme amount of sitting involved and a change needed to happen that would incorporate much more physical movement into her daily routine. Massage is a key part of her personal health routine and does an amazing job as a management tool for her condition. She decided to pursue it as a career in order to help others attain the highest level of wellness that they can.

Melanie also has a Bachelor's Degree in Music from California State University, Northridge. She enjoys playing bass and performs regularly with the latin jazz band, The Zinchiladas, and the blues rock band, Mojo and the Groove.
