Neuroplasticity, the ability for the brain to strengthen connections between different parts of the brain, allows children and adults to strengthen cognitive skills. Practicing cognitive skills, just like physical skills, allows us to get better at them.

Attention training games that are fun to play is an important part of getting children to train regularly. While Imani's family struggled to find something to help her with reading, it was the games that she was willing to play regularly to get the benefits.

For those of us who love reading, seeing a child go from reading because they must to reading for pleasure is a true joy. That is what one grandparent who had her granddaughter using the Attention Arcade recently shared with me.
