I have to be honest: this is the most excited I’ve felt in a while... and it's all thanks to finally listening to an idea that’s been tapping me on the shoulder for years!

Growing up, I wanted to be a teacher and a veterinarian (turns out science wasn’t my strong suit 😅 but working with animals absolutely was). Every time I've taught at in-person workshops, monthly online classes, or on stage at two major animal photography conferences, I walked away feeling such massive fulfillment and, honestly, a little mind-blown that I got to make a difference in someone else’s life or career. 🤯

So now, as I plan my new course, The $10K Weekend: The Art & Strategy of Profitable Mini Sessions, I feel such joy and excitement just thinking about how much this course can make a difference in your life and your career.

I fall asleep thinking of ideas and strategies to share. I keep a notebook by my bed because the thoughts start flowing the second I wake up. When I first launched my mini sessions years ago, I wanted them to be the complete opposite of what I normally do. Why? Because it gave me a fun project. Because it gave past clients a reason to book. Because why the heck not?

Over time, I learned from my failures — and trust me, there were many. Once, I had one booking for an entire weekend. Eleven open spots. 🫠

Did I cry about it? I mean… probably. Let’s be honest.

But I also learned from it. I paid attention to what was working and what clearly wasn’t.
