Every journey is so different. In a society where we place so much pressure on parents I’ve been guided into my own practice providing a nurturing space, more than one way to do things “right”, and honoring families in the place they’re in right now. These moments only happen once, they’re filled with joy and sometimes heartache… many times exhaustion 💛 Our end goal is creating a plan of care that works for YOU, to support the needs of each individual family ✨

You’re doing it, doing all of it every single day to feed your babies whether it be breastmilk, donor milk, formula, or a mixture 🤱🏻👶 I hope you’re proud of yourself through the process and if you ever need reassurance I’m always here 🙏✨

As we bring awareness to I always come back to the constant pressure in society painting a perfect picture of motherhood. Between mom shaming and the vibe of everyone’s beautiful life on Instagram I’m here to tell you motherhood isn’t just rainbows and butterflies 🦋 it’s more of a mix of sunshine and big storms (think Detroit weather 😉hi fam) At the end of the day we all come together and remember each parent is just doing the best they can with the tools they’ve been given. If you don’t have the tools it’s still your job to do the work... work may sound daunting but look at all the people around you supporting you ❤️ Reach out to and you can always send me a message, happy to connect you with resources 💕 You are not alone ✨

Three hearts ❤️❤️❤️ Supporting families having twins and triplets is no easy task. These beautiful faces wake up one after another or all at the same time 👶👶👶 Parents need sleep early postpartum more than ever and many are surviving on little to no sleep 😴 Postpartum doulas support families by helping educate, helping with feeds, and of course having someone to trust to care for and adore their babies while they sleep 💤 So grateful to work with so many families of multiples 💕✨

Mom and baby did unbelievably well through every stage, every obstacle, and every second 👶 In awe of the powerful presence of this family and the hard work every step of the way. Between exercises, sacred time in the birth tub, and a beautiful baby girl born into the love of such a supportive space ✨ Blessings 💕

There are NO bad babies. None. Babies are perfectly nourished and nurtured in the womb. During the out of the womb babies need so much comfort and warmth. You cannot spoil a newborn 👶 You cannot give TOO much love ❤️ Imagine if you’re partner walked away from you on a bad day and said “Sorry, we’re done this is too much love”... umm NO. Stop with the good and bad babies... all babies need to be cared for, to be properly fed, and to be loved 💕

P.S. Happy IBCLC Day!! I’ll just be spending my day wondering how my lactation program is almost complete and my dreams are coming true professionally ✨🤱🏻
