I've been wondering whether I would post this or not.

I want to give a heads up to all of the folks in my life who are sensitive, psychic, out of sorts because of sleep difficulties or emotional turmoil.

2/27/26 could be a particularly potent day!

Making sure you set aside sometime for your own spiritual practice and meditation on peace would be extremely wise. ❤️✨️🙏🏻

Last night was the most disruptive sleep I've had and I don't know how long.

It felt like a full moon although it wasn't.

I actually got up and did things around the house because I felt like it was the middle of the day.

Today I did get quite a few things done but absolutely deviated from my plans. It was a very strange feeling. The energy in the air was, and is, just plain weird.

I wonder if anybody else has had a similar experience over the past 24 hours.

Leaky Mercury Retrograde in Pisces

Leaky Mercury Retrograde in Oceans of Emotions Pisces reveals the leaks in your emotional system.

We’ve been in the Pre-Shadow since February 11. Issues that have arisen in that time will be under review as Messenger Mercury Stations Retrograde (appears to stop and reverse direction) on February 25, 2026.

💦What’s Leaky About This Retrograde?

Messenger Mercury doesn’t thrive in Pisces; in fact, it’s in “detriment”, meaning it is truly stressed. This is on top of the usual Mercury Retro issues with communications, travel, commerce, electronics and appliances, and messages of all types, from texts to emails to vital conversations.

When Retrograde in Pisces, Mercury adds a messy, all over the place quality to the experience. You are either overfull with emotions, or flooding out and over the other people in your life, or both, even more so during this time.

🪣How Do We Bail Ourselves Out?

Shamanic Suggestions: Get in right relationship with the Water Element and your own self care. Gentle practices daily are highly recommended!

I will ALWAYS suggest a regular Fire Ceremony.

Journal before communicating. Give your hurricane level emotions a place to release some intensity so you don’t blow anyone away and forfeit a chance to have a deeper talk.

Do you absorb other’s feelings? Work on your personal energetic hygiene and boundaries. Smudge yourself. Ask your Shamanic Allies to help you keep the energy around you clear.

Are you easily triggered? Practice going to that Eagle Eye perspective to rise above the moment. Slow, deep breaths give you distance from the short-fuse moment.

Have you been feeling disconnected, “not belonging?” Get grounded with nature, critters, and work up to humans. Send a text, make a call - your friend may be in the same castaway on a lonely island state of mind!

🛑The Eclipse Detour

The Year of the Fire Horse came in through a New Moon Ring of Fire Eclipse on 2/17/26.

Now, through the Full Blood Moon Eclipse on 3/3/26, we travel through a focused tunnel or “wormhole” of transformation that reverberates through the next six months.

It’s like the unexpected detour sign in the middle of your journey, but the detour is through the same territory you just drove through.

You may find yourself looping through a few key elements of your Leaky Mercury Retrograde experience more than once.

Examples: I thought I’d sent that, paid that, said that, bought that…am I in the Matrix?

NODAL AXIS - ELEMENTAL SHIFT

We’ve been deeply influenced by the Watery Pisces/Earthy Virgo Nodal Axis for the past 18 months or so. It’s been quite emotional and heavy. And, now the elements are changing…

The Nodes (moving points defined by where the Moon crosses the Sun’s path) constantly move. They will settle into their new alignment of Airy Aquarius/Fiery Leo by the end of July, 2026.

What we thought was too fast is becoming the norm. Yep, it’s going to be even faster now.

With this New Moon Eclipse in Worldly Matters Aquarius we begin the shift in our new Nodal Axis.

WHAT THAT MEANS

Air feeds the Flames, and Fire generates Wind. Chaotic Magic rips through everything right now, and you don’t want to succumb to the swiftness of it.

(As I write this, fierce wind gusts smack at the elegant Angel’s Trumpet in the yard and shake blossoms off the pear trees. Highly sensitive Boxer dog Zeus paces.)

YOUR NEW MOON CEREMONY

Working with Chaotic Magic

Let’s keep it simple. That’s the key to working with and not against this energy.

Find a place in your home that “feels right.” If you work with a regular altar, that’s great! If not, you can make one just for this ceremony.

You’ll want a candle, and a small, round something that represents the Moon to you, perhaps a round moon stone or marble.

Also, an offering of some sort tied into what you are hoping will change for you. Consider a coin for abundance, a heart for love, a personal symbol for healing, or a small bowl of water for peaceful emotions.

Optional: Find something that represents Fire Horse to you. You use the image I created for this article.

Magically cleanse/Smudge yourself

Invite protection (I call in Sacred Medicine Space)

Light your candle.
Breathe to center yourself.

Gaze at the flame, your “Sun.”

Connect with its power and endless light, the totality of its endless giving.

Connect with your Moon symbol. It serves as a reflector, generating no light of its own.

Now, position the Moon so it is between you and the flame.

Create your own symbolic Ring of Fire Eclipse. You want to see the halo of light around your round object.

There are your light codes, encoded messages that activate your own natural ability to work with Chaotic Magic.

They stream into you as calming influences that help you sort out the static and tune into the relevant info.

Focus on your offering and the purpose behind it. Let the halo of light infuse it with helpful energy.

Chaotic Magic becomes fuel for healing, visioning, and purpose.
Be with this for a bit.

Complete with gratitude. Journaling is a great way to acknowledge the gifts of messages and this magical time.

Release your protective Circle with peace, even joy!

Today is a powerful time to gather your Wild Magic to prepare for the coming New Moon on February 17.

This coming New Moon just happens to be a Ring of Fire Eclipse and begins the Year of the Fire Horse. That's Lunisolar Wild Magic - based on the actual movements, positions and alignments of the Sun, Moon and Earth.

Ya won't see the powerful Ring of Fire effect - the Moon blocks the Sun's disk so you only view the corona burning around a black shadow - unless you are in Antarctica.

Wild Fact - Antarctica means "away from the Bear." Look it up! It's astral ✨️.

Human Wild magic comes into play from our agreed upon calendar (for most of the Westwrn world). In modern times, the number 13 has been considered unlucky, and Friday the 13th a potent superstition.

Wild Fact - You're lucky to receive a Baker's Dozen. 🥚🥚🥚

Mix the natural rhythm and phenomena of our Heavenly Lights (Sun, Moon, Planets) and our human mythology into your own rich Wild Magic.

Celebrate today! I like to wear black and watch for signs of Wild Magic. Could be a talkative Raven, or the number 13 popping up everywhere - 13 black cars on the road, 13 minutes past the hour, $13 for lunch.

Rather than negative, I see the Wild Magic as potential. I'll weave it into a crystal, a word, or an image.

Noticing the uplifting moments in life daily helps counteract the toxic effects of relentless, heartbreaking situations and events.

Peace and joy are water to the parched soul.

Dear psychics, intuitives, healers, and sensitives truly need regular doses of Vitamin Hope.

On February 7, 2026, and for the first time in over 100 years, a wolf was sighted in LA County.

She's tagged, so they know she traveled from Northern California.
