Our retreats are at the intersection of spirituality and science. Come as you are, leave as you want to be.

There was laughter, lightness, a deep sense of connection and feeling truly present in the moment.
The water was cool, the air was soft, and something in all of us just… let go.
It reminded me that the sacred doesn’t have to feel heavy, it can feel joyful.
It can feel like you.

Sometimes transformation doesn’t happen in stillness.
It looks like this: fast, wild, and a little messy. The wind in your hair, laughing the whole way through. No overthinking or holding back, just pure freedom.

Yesterday we had an incredible ATV adventure here in Bali.
There’s something about being in the wild of the jungle connected to nature and feeling the thrill of riding on an ATV that really helps you tap into a sense of FREEDOM and EXPANSION where suddenly, you just know that anything is possible for you.
There’s nothing like the sense of aliveness you get from being here.

Therapy can be helpful, but true healing comes from within. Learn to quiet your mind, identify triggers, and actively shift your nervous system from alert to rest and repair.

Struggling to feel good, sleep well, or connect in relationships? The answer lies within. Finding a mentor or simply making time to regulate your nervous system from the inside out is the first step to lasting change. Stop grasping at straws and start transforming your life.

I was at rock bottom, totally burnt out. My days were filled with high-stimulation activities, not meditation or yoga. I had to rebuild from scratch.

Living in a constant state of stress hijacks your body's natural repair and growth functions. When your nervous system perceives existential threats daily, it’s impossible to truly heal or thrive. We're wired for short bursts of stress, not perpetual high alert.

It's always a constant journey, but recovery is possible. You can get out of burnout and your life will get so much better if you say yes to the journey. Take time each day to meditate, do breathwork, and distance yourself from your phone.

I was drowning in external fixes – screens, food, alcohol, everything – trying to numb an internal crisis. It wasn't working. You can't solve an inner issue with outer solutions. It took conscious effort to find a mentor and carve out time for regulation, starting from zero. Even as a yoga teacher, a 15-minute meditation felt impossible because my nervous system was so overwhelmed. This is an invitation to look at the root cause: true regulation comes from within.

High-achievers, constantly giving? If you feel stuck in fight-or-flight, your body can't repair or grow. Meditation, breathwork, and movement aren't optional—they're vital for regulating your nervous system and finding true well-being. It's time to heal from the inside out.

Your body and relationships are sending signals: struggle to find joy, focus, or presence. These are signs you're trying to fix an internal crisis with external solutions like constant screen time, unhealthy coping mechanisms, or fleeting distractions. You can't escape yourself.

The goal should be to feel g o o d!
My goal is to help every person I have the opportunity to work with feel good above all else, whatever that looks like for them. I want you to leave our time together better than you arrived with a clear idea of how to create healthy living habits. I’ll share with you the tools that have helped me feel truly good in my body and in my soul and be your biggest support getting where you’d like to be to feel GOOD.
Welcome! My name is John Quirk and I am a yoga teacher, athlete, retreat leader, chef, rescue dog owner, personal trainer, world traveler and self-truth seeker. I want to help you develop healthy habits for healthy living in a way that feels FUN.
Fun is huge for me, there are no two ways about it, it’s everything. If it’s not fun, not only won’t it last, you’ll be more frustrated by trying to start again and again. Think about a “diet” or “exercise regimen” - did reading those two things make you cringe bit? That’s OK, they do that for did me too. The problem with a diet or “regimen” of any kind that you don’t genuinely want to do, is that it feels finite. I do this, for this long, to get this. That’s not how habits and eventually lifestyles are created. Habits are made from integrating healthy choices AND fun so you make those choices for life.
Whether you’re in search of motivation and a high-quality workout, adding or improving your yoga practice, gentle movement and stretching, guidance in meditation and breathing techniques, or maybe a few of these things sound like they may help you. There’s no one-size-fits all when it comes to wellness and it’s important to look at the whole for any habits we wish to adopt so integrating them into our lives doesn’t feel like work, it feels like FUN.
I’ve spent YEARS experimenting with different workouts that I didn’t really like, fad diets and forcing myself to do hours of cardio while hating every second. What was true for me is that if I didn’t look forward to doing it, I wouldn’t do it consistently, I’d get frustrated and then start over. That doesn’t mean it can’t be challenging, I have clients that LOVE to sweat and dig deep, but it MUST be fun. If you can’t be consistent with it, it will always have an endpoint, who wants to stop feeling good?
I was lucky to benefit from some great teachers and I know how important that is to us as humans on a deep level. I will cheer you on and keep you motivated on those days where it’s tough and share with you my knowledge if I think I can help. I also think it’s important to be transparent with people when I’m not a good fit for what they need, but maybe I know someone who is.
If you’re looking for some help in the wellness space please reach out to see if I can help you. While I have some really great tools I’ve picked up along the way, I’m honest about what I know, how/if I can help, and fair value for what my time is worth. If you’re wanting to feel good and could use some help, I hope you’ll take the first step and reach out!
