STRUT was conceived to address my personal connection with hair loss. My mother, Kim, suffered from fine, thinning hair and struggled for ways to make her hair thicker and increase her confidence in her appearance. She continually left local wig shops feeling great only to later receive negative feedback from friends and family about her new look. After confiding in me, “Honey, nobody understands, I just have thin, mousey hair,”
I passionately embarked on a new path to help my mother. This lit a fire inside of me to also help others struggling with thinning hair, leading to my first location opening as a Fresno mall kiosk in 2002. By 2004, STRUT expanded to a strip mall retail location, successfully becoming the anchor of that mall by 2008. In 2011, STRUT expanded yet again with another studio in Solana Beach, CA, with each location offering a large selection of the finest wigs, hair extensions and the latest in laser hair technology and other hair loss solutions for the discerning client.
