650+ Postcards & a dream 📬 Cliche but true 💁🏻‍♀️

A few weeks ago I sent out 650+ postcards introducing shops to Line & Kind, my line of colorful and thoughtful stationery & gifts, with hopes that they’ll place an order during Market, an online trade show where shops buy unique goods for their stores

I did this last year with 500 postcards, and it was my most successful marketing attempt yet - 7 stores added greeting cards, gift bags, notepads, and more to their stores in 1 week! 🫢

So, will it work again? We’ll find out this week because Faire Market starts today 😅

Best year of sales ever 🥹

Line & Kind’s 7 year business birthday is just a few days away and what a way to celebrate then by sharing the numbers - best year of sales ever! What! Ty, ty, ty! 🫶🏼

Every year when I make this little report, I always discover I’ve done better than I think. As someone who easily gets stuck in the comparison game and is constantly raising the bar for this business, I don’t often recognize my accomplishments. So here I go:

I launched two new products - gift bags and wrap!
Built wonderful relationships with 17 new stockists
Also had by best year of sales at in-person markets
& fell back in love with illustrating

And to top it all off, I have this wonderful community of paper lovers around me 🥰

Thank you, as always, for being here. I can’t wait to see where 2026 takes us ✨

5 tips for beautiful gifting 🎁

There’s something extra exciting about getting a beautifully wrapped gift. It shows that they put a little extra effort into it, a little extra time, and how special is that?

Here are 5 quick ways to make your gifts say a little something extra:

1 - Crisp Edges
Use a credit card or bone folder to get a clean fold. There’s something so satisfying about a crisp edge! 🙌🏼

2 - Pick the Right Ribbon
Pick a color from the pattern for the ribbon. It’s guaranteed coordination and even the simplest bows look good 🎀

3 - 45° Cut
Fold & cut your ribbon at a 45° angle. That little detail completes the whole look ✂️

4 - Add a Card
You know I love a handwritten note. Adding a card to your gift just goes the extra mile & is a keepsake they can hold on to to remember the season ✉️

I’m still riding the high that was Small Business Saturday weekend! 😭 Y’all showed up for small businesses, including mine, in such a big way

Line & Kind, this little stationery business, has found a community of kind, thoughtful, paper-loving people and for that, I will forever be grateful

03 - Nearly broke my all time sales record! 🙌🏼 Wow, SD, I can’t thank you enough. It’s looking like 2025 will be L&K’s best year of sales yet

04 - and most importantly, I felt so loved by you 🫶🏼 Many of you came out to support after seeing my last reel (the fraud situation). This isn’t just a business to me and you’re not just customers - you’re my people! I will never stop thanking you for being a part of this journey

5 holiday cards, endless cheer! 📬🎁✨

It’s that time friends, the holiday card collection is here! Full of color and classic phrases, I wanted these to feel warm & inviting but with that clean Line & Kind spin

My personal favorite is the Season’s Greetings, ornament box🎄 My family has a hugeee love of ornaments. Boxes on boxes of ornaments that drown the tree in sparkle & shine (whatever you’re imagining, adds like 3 more boxes 😅)

Simple Designs for Complex Sentiments

I graduated college with a graphic design degree and I didn't know which direction to take - I loved branding, packaging, pattern design, many different avenues. Simultaneously I was also a professional ballet dancer which kept be from taking a more 'typical' nine to five design job. In turn, I start illustrating themes that came to mind; flowers, oceanic elements, plants. Those themes eventually included holidays, life events, and other sentiments lending themselves to stationery. Thus, Line & Kind was born - encompassing my passion for the handmade, paper, simple illustrations, and, of course, stationery.
