Just prepared Turmeric/Ginger Tea for our afternoon in Clinton, OK. 🍹
This tea is fantastic for being in the heat and is also good for inflammation and digestion.

Just boil turmeric and ginger root with a little bit of black pepper for about 10 min. Then remove from heat and let sit for another 10-20 min. (Always add black pepper when eating turmeric…it helps your body absorb its beneficial properties).
Then strain. Then I like to add a few tablespoons of local honey to give it a little sweet kick with the heat.
