Meal time because I’m awesome. We all deserve healthy, balanced meals. Taking better care of my body.

Photo Description:
Sitting on a white, square, rounded edge plate, in one corner sits a disc of minced red dragon fruit. A semicircle of olive tapenade hugs the dragon fruit puck. A handful of cubed seasoned pork belly in the shape of a crescent rests atop a garden of halved sugar snap peas. And on the outer perimeter are parboiled, roasted, and lightly seasoned potatoes. Finished with a roasted black walnut oil.

Snack time.

Photo Description:
Pitted and Quartered Moon Cherries, upon a bed of Fairview blueberries, topped with Grade A, small curd, cottage cheese. It’s in a bowl. The inner most part of the bowl is a light brown color. Plain for the most part, just outside of that, it tapers into a thin, black gradient to a pattern of squares and rectangles. The colors of the rectangles are of a dark stone pallet. Brick reds, dirt orange, and some deep forest.

Sugar and gluten are two of the biggest culprits when it comes to inflammation in the body (something I need to avoid since I’m prone to autoimmune flare-ups). So I made these banana nut bread muffins with monk fruit sweetener and a gluten tree all-purpose flour. I improvised with some cinnamon, pecans and shredded fresh coconut. Turned out pretty tasty!

Chair massage is a convenient way to get work done, whether in an office, home, or at the park. As a therapist, I enjoy chair massage because I can easily work on the most commonly complained about areas: the neck, shoulders, back, arms and hands.
This massage chair isn’t the model I have (yet🔮). I just think it’s really cool because the therapist can work on their client in a vertical, diagonal or horizontal position! 🤯 Technology really amazes me

I’ve been dealing with a minor autoimmune flare up the last few weeks and ended up staying at UCSF for a couple days of treatments. I’m committed to healing my body naturally, however I have to admit modern western medicine has its time and place. I’m out now resting, recovering and getting stronger everyday. Thanks to all of you who checked in on me, sending me love, prayers and positive vibes. After 7 years of being stable, this minor setback was a little discouraging. But the love and support I received made a world of difference. The window bed on the 14th floor definitely helped keep my spirits up as well
photo descriptions:
1. Selfie of me wearing my new fave face mask mask in my ER room (I was there nearly 15 hours) wearing a comfy hospital gown 2. A pic of my left arm resting on a pillow while getting IV steriods (to get inflammation in my body down) 3&4. Panoramic views from my window bed of San Francisco
