If you’ve been to HeartLab recently, you may have noticed something gorgeous on the west-facing wall…

Say hello to our brand new honeycomb cubbies — our latest functional art piece, handcrafted and delivered with so much love.

Huge gratitude to Travis Polk, who drove this beauty all the way from Nevada City with his best friend, and then helped us anchor it securely on the wall. It took a little creativity, a little geometry magic, and a lot of teamwork — but we did it. And… wow.
She’s stunning.

Now when you arrive for an event at HeartLab, you can slip into the space by placing your bag, jacket, or personal items right inside the honeycomb — literally integrating into the cells of community the moment you walk in.

Shoes go below, bags go above, and for our bigger events there’s even space on top of the piece for overflow.
Plenty of room for everyone’s gear.

If the honeycomb feels familiar, it’s because you’ve already experienced Travis’s genius at work: he built our shoe rack, our daybed/stage (which secretly stores all our floor chairs), our tea table, our massage table, and our handcrafted HeartLab sign. 🤩

Our space is filled with his magic — and now, even more so.
