Ayuma Healing Arts Encourages transformational shifts rooted in spiritual integrity and conscious of cultural practices.

Anรฎ La'arni Ayuma descends from a family of traditional Filipina/o healers through her paternal lineages, Ayuma and Gonzales. She creates spaces that encourage transformational shifts rooted in spiritual integrity and embodied in practice through spiritual counseling, Hilot and holistic medicine, and community wellness advocacy. She encourages a compassionate radical healing that is culturally min

dful and self-sustaining. Guiding the people she serves in their journey back to wholeness through the process of reconnecting with ancestral and inner wisdom. Supporting them in creating a self-healing practice that will help them remember the stories that live in their bodies, their minds and their hearts. Helping them build a more aligned relationship with the Self, the world and the divine source. She is held in love by her guides, blood and spiritual ancestors, living relatives, teachers, peers, communities, her partner and her three children.

A long-time allgo supporter, community member and spiritual and ancestral medicine practitioner, Laโ€™arni brings skills that help emphasize our collective desire to operate from a mindset of sustainability. As a q***r holistic practicioiner she is able to nurture our community with her wisdom and understands how the pillars of health, wellness, and cultural arts connect to our path to q***r and gender diverse liberation. We will explore the Filipino concepts of PAKIKIPAGKAPWA (interpersonal connections/collectivism), BAYANIHAN (spirit of communal support) and PAKIKIBAKA (collective resistance/fight/struggle).

In what ways have you seen these concepts manifest in your circles, communities, workplace, etc.?

How do our cultural narratives around concepts of pakikipagkapwa, bayaninan and/or pakikibaka shape communal support and promote community healing?

My cousin and I saw this on the way to a retreat. She pulled over before I could message her from my car that I was going to. I learned later they were called Bodhi Tree or Sacred Fig Tree.

We hugged one quickly and made a plan to stop again on the way back.

I have only napped yesterday for 2 hours and Karaoke-ing neighbors til about 5 AM did not allow me the rest before a virtual meeting.

5 and 3 minute cat naps on the way to the airport plus 2/3 cup ๐Ÿ˜‚ of kapรฉ Barako helped me move with some grace today.

We invite you to join us for a knowledge sharing and storytelling workshop about Hilot medicine, ancestral connection and healing. Please register to attend this VIRTUAL workshop on Wednesday, January 29th, from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM Central Time.

We will explore how this practice can connect us deeper to our culture, our ancestors and our own sense of self.

We will walk together through some cultural practices such as pausok, anting-anting, Hilot and more.

This workshop intends to hold the space for you to navigate your culture, or your calling through a holistic and culturally rooted approach so you may navigate your own healing journey in a way that honors your ancestral lineage, lived experience, skills and intentions.

We will approach all with protection, respect, spiritual integrity and responsibility to our ancestors from generations back and forward.

Our Story

ayuma healing arts promotes health and wellness through aligning practice with purpose utilizing Intuitive Counseling, Hilot medicine and bodywork, mindfulness practice, holistic living, healing by and with nature, conscious parenting, movement, meditation, and other tools to promote a compassionate radical healing that is self sustaining.

la'arni ayuma descends from a family of traditional Filipina/o healers. She integrates the ancient healing arts with other somatic/energy healing techniques and mindfulness practice to promote well-being in her communities. As a q***r holistic practitioner, she facilitates spaces that encourage transformational shifts that is rooted in spiritual integrity, empowering community members in their self-care, healing and transformation.

As an artist, her work is embodied through her movement. Dancing is her meditation. It is her joy.

She is also a proud mother and student to her three children, a gifted musician, a wise elder, and a warrior healer.
