Resiliency is the psychological term used to define an individual’s ability to manage stressful situations, cope with adversity and recover from set backs. Studies have shown the practice of yoga to be helpful in building resiliency in both education and professional settings. Be H.E.R.E designs and implements yoga-based curriculum that encourages participants to know themselves and live from the heart, better enabling them to reach their objectives. in the workplace, school, community) share the characteristics of being grounded and skilled in their abilities to self-regulate. This allows them to not only set goals, but to access emotional intelligence needed to fulfill those goals. programs build these internal skills, facilitating participants’ progress towards meeting their personal intentions and those of their school or organization. facilitates and funds the placement of yoga programs in schools, non-profit organizations and the private sector.
