New logo design for ✨ My main inspiration for this rebrand was Lynette’s warm and authentic photography. I wanted that same feeling to come through in her logo, brand, and stationery. Her color palette was pulled directly from her beautiful travel photography. Like her, it’s bold but warm and earthy. I love the final logo and am so happy I got to work with to bring her vision to life ✨

Felt the need to pull out my paints yesterday and just play a little ✨ I get so wrapped up in emails, proposals, projects, and to-do’s so it was nice to just make something for fun. I need to do that more. Here’s your reminder to get off the computer 🖌💌

I just finished designing and printing a Valentine’s Day card set so I’m really into this pink and burgundy suite 💕 The envelope liner is a beautiful paper with actual dried flower pressed into it. Such a fun surprise to see when opening these invitations. I continued the flower theme throughout with the wreaths on the main card. Give me all the flowers and pinks! 😍

I can’t believe it either but Valentine’s Day is right around the corner 💕

For as horrible as 2020 was, it did have a lot of silver linings ✨ I pivoted my calligraphy workshops into online faux calligraphy classes, I got to wear yoga pants pretty much everyday 😬, I worked with some awesome couples on postponing their invitations, I got outside everyday, and most importantly I got to be home everyday with my family ✨I’m so thankful for this past year but SO ready for 2021 🎉

Can’t wait for my faux calligraphy card making workshop this Saturday ✨ For as long as I can remember I loved making cards. I would gather up paper scraps, markers, colored pencils and make cards for my family. I even wrote “Cards by Rachel” on the back of every card 🤗 I guess it is only natural that I now design stationery and get to teach my love for card making to others! ✨
