Hello!
Tomorrow would be 2 weeks since I’ve arrived here. I am adjusting just fine. I arrived very tired and thin! I am glad to say that I am putting some weight on. I’ve been eating Andean choclito (corn), Andean soup with Andean potatoes, Andean trout, quinoa, Andean cheese….yes everything Andean. All the things I don’t get to eat when I am abroad. My indigenous roots are blossoming here. ❤️🙏

There was a time in life, many years ago , (I am only talking about my own story) where my own level of perception, in many aspects of my life, didn’t let me see the bigger and greater picture within myself and others.
I started my spiritual and healing journey back in 2008, it was a conscious and scary decision I made, to transform my life from within. Thank goodness to the Creator (names don’t matter to me), that intuitively, I knew one thing, I need it to SEE and FACE on an emotional and material level where I was at that moment in my life. When I say material level I am not talking about money. I needed it to come face to face not only with my internal shadows, emotional trauma and wounds, but also with the way I perceived life and others. I am so grateful I had the courage (and still need the courage) to take the Veil off my eyes and see myself for who I was at that moment, no excuses and no where to hide. It was one of the most scary and painful things I’ve ever done but it was the best decision I ever made. One that started me on a life transforming journey. It saved my life.
And today, through my work that’s one of the first things I tell my clients when we begin our journey together. There is just no way around it and thank goodness for that. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

For whatever reason getting into a trance state comes natural to me. With my drum and with free flow body movement are two ways I use to get into a trance state. Each one them provides a different experience each time.

Today, I found out more about one of my favorite places to eat an organic healthy meal. AMA is more than an organic restaurant. It is a social project as well. AMA through its restaurant provides training and job opportunities to local women in vulnerable positions, empowering them and helping them grow in different aspects of their lives by also promoting a community based, way of living. At the same time, AMA Boutique sells 💯 handmade clothing by female weavers representing local communities with their own unique patterns and designs. AMA is contributing to a fair partnership, again empowering women from these communities.

Today I spent some time in Urubamba. It's one of the very popular towns in Sacred Valley where the locals and tourists share the energy of the area. Where old traditions and customs share the space with some aspects of the modern world. It is really quite interesting. I navigate both at all times, but the locals have a special place in my heart. In a strange way, the protector in me comes out and I find myself sending energetic blessings their way. I can't help myself but to reflect on the people of this amazing land. I truly want to get to know them. I have already experienced their kindness many times.
This area attracts a lot of tourists, probably mainly because of Machu Picchu, but also individuals who are seeking a spiritual experience and healing, and they come from all parts of the world.
In one place like Urubamba you can experience a 5 star hotel like Tambo del Inka with its luxurious spa, raw vegan desserts at Guru Verde, flyers advertising spiritual retreats and the like, local tarot readers and curanderos, health food stores, coffee shops and local markets including an artisan market that runs on Saturdays at the plaza. What can I say...Urubamba has it all 😊

The magic of Sacred Valley. I am staying in a beautiful area far away from the city. Mostly farm land and little towns and villages along the way. It's been raining every day. At night is blackout dark, so I can see the stars. There is silence except for the birds and in the morning the roosters welcome another day.
I walk a lot even when it is raining. I am surrounded by sacred Apus and I can feel their embrace and protection. My soul is getting nourished here. You hardly see a female solo traveler. I am sure there is, I just haven't seen them, yet. I don't know how to explain this, but I feel home. I feel connected to my indigenous roots and I think of my mom.
There is a lot work ahead and a lot to accomplished. I feel so grateful 🙏❤️🙋🏻‍♀️

The time of the year has come where there is long moments of reflection of the year that is coming to an end. I reflect on the lessons learned, on my energetic and mental shifts, on the obstacles encountered, on any behavioral pattern that no longer serves me and the cutting of that energetic cord, on my overall health of body, mind, and spirit, and what needs to be accomplished next. A sense of gratitude overwhelms my whole being. Life may bring us challenging moments during our journey, but overcoming them and gaining precious gifts in the process, is a real possibility. It is the evolution of our soul and the connection to the Creator that leads the way to your becoming. Be the light that guides the ever present moment of your own becoming. May you shed the past that no longer needs to protect you, the way the serpent sheds its skin. May the archetype of the jaguar shows you even a glimpse of your own divinity so that you live fearlessly, knowing the path beyond death. May the hummingbird shows you how to drink only, from the sweet nectar of life, to put your attention on relationships that are alive, bringing sacredness into each aspect of your life. May the great eagle and condor show you the peak of the mountain you only dare to dream of, to look at the big picture with clarity and show you how to fly wing to wing with your Creator. To the winds of the South, West, North, East, to Pachamama linda and the Cosmos, we gather here for the healing of all your children...Hey!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏😊🙋🏻‍♀️🥳
