A major-related organization at Del Val for students interested or involved in the dairy industry. Dairy Challenge™ allows students to apply their knowledge and experiences in dairy science in the real-world evaluation of a dairy farm, including: operations, facilities, nutrition, reproduction, animal health, management, and financial stability. This is done during a three-day competition, competing against teams that represent different dairy science programs throughout the entire country. The mission statement of the North American Intercollegiate Dairy Challenge is as follows: "Develop tomorrow's dairy leaders and enhance progress of the dairy industry, by providing education, communication and networking among students, producers, and agribusiness and university personnel."
