On a cloudy weekend in San Francisco I sat in the wonderful CrossFit gym of with other aspiring coaches to get certified in coaching those who wish to go on their crossfit journey.

Sure waking up at 6:00 a.m. on a weekend wasn't the best sleep i had, but it was worth it! Thank you to Austin and Miles and it was cool to connect to other coaches!

Oh and did I mention I'm now certified? Hell yes!

Another crossfit competition in the books! A two part, 2 day smash fest of Heat exhaustion, sweat, and exhusted muscles. But it wouldn't be crossfit...

And despite my original partner backing out (due to their kid being sick), the motions were worth the potions! I've been in this game for almost 3 years now and I'm looking forward to continuing it!

Hot on the heels of my first crossfit competition, i attended a great knife defense and counteroffense seminar led by the great yet humble held at . Because i had my competition the day before, I couldn't attend the first day, but regardless i learned so much in the time that I was there and i got to be surrounded by such great people and martial artists! Learning from someone like Paulo who has taught a wide range of students from law enforcement to civilians all over the country is always humbling yet enriching experience!

Definitely looking forward to future workshops and seminars from these folks!

Over the weekend i got to train with the legendary here in San Francisco at the . Being immersed in tactical defense with bladed weapons has been a desired skill to add to my martial arts tool box for sometime now.
