Sometimes anxiety feels too big for words, but art can help us process what’s going on inside.
Here’s a simple art prompt you can try the next time fear rises: 🎨

1️⃣ Draw or paint your fear.
2️⃣ Cover it with colors or words that remind you of God’s presence.
3️⃣ Read Isaiah 41:10 aloud and breathe deeply.

✨ Try it this week, and let me know how it felt!

Creating these devotions isn’t about perfect editing or flawless delivery. It’s about creating space for God’s Word to meet us where we are.

This month I shared Isaiah 41:10, because it’s a verse that carried me through some of my hardest days.

One of the greatest joys of this work is hearing how God is using Heart to Art Collective and the Creative Expressions Workshops to meet you right where you are.

These stories remind me that healing, reflection, and faith are not meant to be walked alone.

Thank you to everyone who has shown up, created, reflected, and shared this space together. 💛

If you’re longing for a gentle space to pause, reflect, and create, our next Creative Expressions Workshop is on February 21

✨ No art experience needed.

When fear whispers that you’re alone, God gently reminds you: “I am with you.”

You don’t have to carry it all today. His presence is your strength. 💛

🎧 Take a moment to pause and breathe in His promise.

There was a season when anxiety felt like my constant shadow. I thought if I could just ‘be stronger’ I’d find peace. But God whispered: ‘Do not fear, for I am with you.’ (Isaiah 41:10)

That truth reshaped my life, and it’s why I created Heart to Art Collective: to be a space where women can find peace, creativity, and God’s presence in their struggles.

👉 Have you ever felt strengthened by this verse?

Peace is not passive. 🌿

It’s something we practice daily by choosing
🌿 prayer over worry
🌿 creativity over chaos
🌿 gratitude over fear.

Philippians 4:7 reminds us that God’s peace will guard our hearts and minds.

✨ Today, may you step into God's peace not as an escape, but as a strength.

Here’s my vision for Heart to Art Collective in 2026:

✨ More opportunities for women to encounter God through creative expression and reflection.
✨ More creative workshops & soul care where faith and mental health meet.
✨ More speaking on faith, mental health, and creativity.

It’s a big vision, but one I believe God has called me to pursue.
And I can’t do it alone. 💛

If you’ve ever been impacted by this community or believe in this mission, here are two simple ways you can support:

🤍 Share this content with someone who might need encouragement.
🤍 Invite me to lead a workshop or speak at your church or women’s group.

Every share and invitation helps create more space for women to pause, heal, and create.

Why Creativity Calms Anxiety

Creative activities calm the nervous system, shift our focus from worry, and create space for God’s presence. Even small doodles or brushstrokes can be a prayer without words.

Here’s what I reach for on the days when anxiety tries to take over:

🌿 Prayer journaling
🎨 A few minutes of doodling or coloring
🙏 Breathing slowly while meditating on scripture

They’re simple tools, but they’ve carried me again and again.

✨ What’s one small practice that helps you find peace?
