“Anamcara” is a Celtic term meaning “soul friend” and refers to a deep spiritual connection with another person, where one can share life’s intimacy without masks. It comes from the Gaelic words anam (soul) and cara (friend).

Today I want to share with you all, the gratitude I have for my golden friendship with , aka habibi :)) my eagle brother from the north🦅. He is my anamcara, friend, confident, accomplice, and even co-creator of dreams (or as they would say in today’s world, business partner)

Brian, guardian of altars of the north, poet of Celtic Sufi shamanic prayers, and the medicine of laughter and patience, it has been a blessing to witness him in his medicine, his own song, and his genius mind.

I met Brian in Ecuador in 2023, at a retreat he orchestrated, “A Prayer for the Sanctuary of the Sacred Headwaters,” an encounter filled with healing, altruism, generosity, devotion to the sacred feminine and to Mother Earth, to Life itself, since then we have nurtured and cared for the thread of gold of Anamcara that binds us. Through the synchronicities of our shared passion for the Sufi path, persian poetry, art, activism, travel, shamanism, psychology, healing, ancient technologies and above all, our profound devotion and love for Life and the Great Spirit, we now find ourselves rowing the ship of EJ, with the absolute certainty of horizons of beauty! I received his invitation to be a co-founder of a year ago while we were drinking chai in the city of Konya-Turkey, and here we are now, weaving together this beautiful dream.

What an honor it is to create alongside you, in service to the highest good! What an honor it is to walk beside you, or run, or dance, or simply contemplate in silence, from Vilcabamba to Anatolia, or from Shasta to the Sacred Valley of the Andes, with you habibi, I walk the path of the Qhapaq Ñan with my eyes closed, beloved brother! I am sure our adventurous souls will continue leading us to pilgrimages on this sacred Earth.

Thank you for being such an example of altruism and devotion, you never cease to amaze me.

Y también habemos quienes nos juntamos en círculo, cantamos, danzamos y a través de la música dejamos que se muevan emociones, reflexionamos y nos permitimos ser transformadxs con la sutil medicina de las Danzas de Paz Universal.*
