This post brings back many meaningful memories from my years in special education. I saw firsthand how clear communication and organized systems helped students thrive and helped teams feel confident and united.

Today I was deeply touched by a handwritten Earth Day reflection shared by educator and friend Sagarika Bhattacharjee from India. Her message reminds us that caring for the Earth is not only about one day of celebration, but about daily responsibility, unity, kindness, and global cooperation.

She beautifully reflected that when communities work together across borders, we can reduce pollution, restore nature, and create a more peaceful world for future generations.
