Come meet our new apprentice, Ellie! Get into the fall spirt with some spooky tunes. Flow through a 55 minute basic reformer/mat class! Ellie’s favorite thing about Pilates is engaging those tiny muscles you normally don’t get to use in everyday life. She has finished up Level 1 training from Pilates Collective International in SLO. Outside of the gym, Ellie absolutely loves being outside hiking, camping, biking and getting tossed round in the ocean when surfing. She can’t wait to move with you! Hi! My name is Valerie and I’m so excited to be subbing some of our Pilates classes at Empower THIS WEEK 7am Wednesday and 7am Friday!

I’m a Central Coast native and a 2021 graduate of PCI Pilates Education & Instructor Training under the instruction of our very own Casey Van Schoyck and Keira Cumberland of Pilates Collective SLO. I discovered Pilates in 2019 and immediately fell in love with the system because of how much it reminded me of dance. The strength, control, precision and grace that Pilates offered grounded me in a way that no other movement system had in body, mind and soul. I look forward to meeting you and I’ll see you in the studio!
