Please meet one of our peer support specialists, Valeria! She is our bilingual peer specialist who is able to provide peer support in English & Spanish. Get to know her below:

-What’s your favorite way to relax after a long day?
I like to get cozy in my pajamas, watching one of my comforts shows while enjoying a snack!

-What's a fun fact about you that most people don't know?
I watched the entire Game of Thrones show in a week.

-What led you to pursue your current role?
I've been always drawn to wellness and mental health advocacy. When I learned about allcove and its mission, it really resonated with my values and what I believe in. I know how powerful it can be when people are given a safe space to talk and I want to create that genuine connection for someone.

-What do you enjoy most about your job?
I love how we can make a difference in our community. Working alongside such a dedicated team and being part of something as meaningful as allcove feels very rewarding. The impact we have on young people’s lives reminds me why I’m passionate about this work.

-What are you looking forward to working at allcove San Mateo?
I look forward to making meaningful connections and be that support for whoever needs it!
