Today, we want to highlight one of our more unique event offerings - LEATHERWORK!

This fall, we held an awesome event in which participants got to make leather bookmarks, experimenting with leather stamping, hot foil stamping, and hand stamping. It was so much fun seeing everyone explore different styles, colors, and designs, and everyone seemed to have just as much fun doing so themselves!

Dragonfly Designs - where creativity meets fun!

Hi, I’m Stacee Gillelen, mother of four, artist, and founder of Dragonfly Designs. After my second daughter was born, I left my career in banking to focus on raising my children while pursuing a degree in social work. Then, by chance, I fell in love with the art of jewelry making, and found that I just couldn’t stop spreading the joy of it to others.

The parties, classes, and camps we offer grew naturally out of sharing my passion for unique, handmade jewelry with family and friends. What began as a retail and wholesale jewelry business has evolved into a holistic expression of my commitment to art education, social justice, and philanthropy. Plus, it’s a whole lot of fun!

As our team and mission have grown, we’ve been blessed to share many forms of art with many awesome students. In addition to jewelry making, we now teach an ever-expanding list of disciplines including art exploration, painting, textiles & fiber arts, metalsmithing, leatherworking, dance, and yoga & meditation.

We’ve also expanded the languages in which our classes and camps are taught to Spanish and Mandarin. I’ve seen just how beneficial language immersion has been for broadening my own children’s worldview, and I’m excited to provide immersion camps and classes to second language learners who want to engage with art in their target language.
