Day 4!!!!
Most of the time, I strive to be a “good enough” parent but today - thanks to the -I get to toot my horn and say “I am a really really awesome mom!”.

This is me in front of the sign for the Forest Kindergarten Waldorf School in Saratoga,NY to toot my horn that for two years- I drove my son 47 miles one way to this school every day because I FULLY believed it was that environment and that pedagogy that would foster his growth the MOST during a time when mainstream medicine and education wanted to diagnose, label and medicate him.


Three things I appreciate and am proud of about myself as a parent.

I am 100% dedicated to supporting their development as WHOLE individual beings. It is my job to help open the doors of opportunity that will allow the space for each child to be the best version of themselves as THEY see it- not as I see it.

My kids, naturally so, taught me that I didn’t know s**t about parenting! When I struggle- I LEARN about the developmental stage they are in and how best to support them !

I dig in deep, on the daily, to hold myself accountable, heal my triggers and show up as compassionate and patient as I can be.

I’m all for daily dance parties and chocolate chip cookies for dinner when the spirit moves in that way 🙌🏼🤷‍♀️✨

Finding my way through the woods on Easter Day.

I am feeling irritable, argumentative, bored, unmotivated.

Knowing that nature brings me the feelings I want to experience... exhilaration, curiosity, expansion, joy, motivation, wonder and awe....✨
I pack up the family and drive north 90 minutes to explore a new place.

And I find myself.
