🌻Let’s talk about oils, baby🌻
Let’s talk about all the good things and the bad things that may be:
The good things: 🎉
Our hair and skin LOVE oil. Adding oil to your beauty routine can help with acne, scaring, dry skin, oily skin, and also help bring hair back to life. Most skin cleansers and shampoos strip all the oils from your skin and hair (good and bad) causing your skin to react with dryness, excess oil production, or acne. And hair to react with dryness, excess oil production, or hair loss.
The bad things: 🤯
Not all oils are created equal. Some oils molecule structure is too big to be absorbed my our skin and hair. When oils can not be absorbed, they sit on top of hair and skin and our body is unable to utilize them.
When you’re shopping for an oil, check out these two things:
1️⃣ Is the oil absorbable by your hair and skin?
2️⃣ And is the oil natural or synthetic? Natural oils are easier to absorb by the body.
