But… what are hormones anyway?

Hormones are tiny messengers in your body that tell different parts of your body what to do.

They help control things like:
• Your mood
• Your energy levels
• Your sleep
• Your period cycle
• Your cravings
• Your skin

When your hormones are balanced, you usually feel more like yourself.
But when they’re out of balance, you might notice things like mood swings, low energy, breakouts, bloating, or irregular periods.

So if you’ve been feeling like something is off with your body, your hormones might be part of the reason.

Understanding your hormones is the first step to supporting your body better. ✨

Do you struggle with painful or irregular periods every month?

Strong cramps.
Unpredictable cycles.
Feeling exhausted and uncomfortable when your period comes.

Many women are told this is “normal.”
But sometimes it’s a sign that your hormones may be out of balance.

Your cycle reflects what’s happening inside your body. When you start giving it the right support, better nutrition, rest, and care your body can slowly find its balance again.

You deserve a cycle that doesn’t control your life every month. ✨

Save this if you’ve ever experienced period cramps or irregular periods.

Does your husband chewing sound like a marching band in your head?

Does one cat meow feel like a full emergency?

Does someone breathing near you feel personal?

Do you feel fine, then one tiny thing happens, and your fuse is gone?

Welcome to the perimenopause rage phase.

You are not “too sensitive.”
You are not losing your mind.
You are not a bad person.

Here is the why.

Estrogen shifts fast in perimenopause.

Those swings affect serotonin, dopamine, and your stress response.

Your nervous system runs hotter, so small stressors feel big.

Progesterone is often low.
Progesterone has a calming effect for many women.
Lower progesterone can mean less buffer, lighter sleep, more irritability, and more anxiety.

Add poor sleep, blood sugar swings, and nonstop responsibility, and rage shows up.

Start tracking patterns:
👉Does rage hit before your period?
👉After a bad night of sleep?
👉After skipping protein earlier in the day?
👉After caffeine on an empty stomach?
👉When you are stretched too thin?

You are not crazy.
Your body is asking for support.

Hair thinning can feel alarming, but it’s a struggle many women face and it’s often linked to hormones.

Some signs that your hormones may be involved:
• Hair falling out in clumps or shedding more than usual
• Noticeably thinner hair at the crown or temples
• Brittle, dry, or slow-growing hair

Here’s what you can do:
Check your iron and thyroid levels – deficiencies can affect growth.

Manage stress – high cortisol can trigger hair shedding.

Support your scalp & diet – protein, biotin, and healthy fats help hair health.

Consult a healthcare professional – sometimes hormonal imbalances like thyroid, estrogen, or androgen changes need professional care.

Remember: hair thinning isn’t always permanent, and it doesn’t mean something is “wrong” with you, it's your body signaling for support.

💬 Comment “ME” if you’ve noticed hair changes lately, and save this post for reference.

Why do I feel emotional over small things?

Hormones play a bigger role than most people realize. Fluctuations in cortisol, estrogen, and progesterone can amplify your emotions, making small stresses feel huge.

Other signs your hormones might be involved:
• Energy crashes
• Sugar or carb cravings
• Sleep problems
• Brain fog

How to support yourself:
Prioritize sleep

Manage stress daily

Eat balanced meals

Track your cycle

Seek professional support if needed

💬 Comment “ME” if this feels familiar, and save this post to revisit when emotions feel intense.

“Why am I gaining weight even though I’m eating healthy?”
“Why do I feel bloated all the time?”
“Why am I anxious or sad for no reason?”

If you’ve been asking yourself these questions, you’re not imagining it.
Some struggles women face include:

• Stubborn weight gain or bloating
• Sudden mood swings or irritability
• Anxiety or emotional overwhelm
• Low energy or afternoon crashes
• Sleep that feels unrefreshing
• Unpredictable digestion or nausea

Your body is trying to tell you something, noticing these patterns is the first step to feeling like yourself again. 🤍

💬 Comment “ME” if any of these sound familiar, and save this post to revisit when you need a reminder.

Why am I so tired all the time? Why is my period irregular? Why do I feel anxious for no reason? Why is my libido gone? Why am I bloated even when I eat healthy?

These are some of the most searched struggles women experience and they’re often hormone-related.

You might be dealing with:
• Painful or unpredictable cycles
• Waking up at 3am and not falling back asleep
• Feeling wired at night but exhausted in the morning
• Random puffiness in your face or body
• Headaches before your period
• Low s*x drive
• Feeling emotionally overwhelmed by small things
• Digestion changes around your cycle

And instead of answers, you’re told:
“It’s normal.”
“It’s stress.”
“It’s just your age.”

But common doesn’t mean normal.

Your hormones influence your sleep, mood, libido, digestion, stress response, and pain sensitivity.

When they’re out of rhythm you feel it everywhere.

If you’ve Googled any of those questions, save this post 🤍
Your body isn’t working against you. It’s asking for support.

Woke up motivated, hydrated, ready to romanticize my life…
And then my body said, “Actually, we’re doing chaos today.”

One minute I’m motivated.
Next minute I’m irritated.
Then hungry.
Then emotional.
Then tired.
All before 10am.

If you’ve ever experienced:
• Random mood swings
• Snapping over tiny things
• Sudden anxiety
• Energy crashes
• Cravings out of nowhere
• Feeling like a different person before your period

…it’s not you being dramatic.

Hormones influence your mood, energy, appetite, sleep, and patience more than we were ever taught.

You’re not unstable.
You’re not “too sensitive.”
You’re human with a hormonal system.

Tag a friend whose hormones run the schedule some days 😂👇
